TutorBrief ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using TutorBrief, you agree to the practices described here.
What We Collect
We collect only what we need to provide the service:
- Email address — When you join our waitlist or create an account, we collect your email address so we can contact you about early access and product updates.
- Session notes — When you use the TutorBrief demo or application, you enter session notes describing what happened during a tutoring session. These notes are sent to our AI service to generate a parent email on your behalf.
- Usage data — We may collect basic, anonymized data about how you interact with the site (such as page views) to help us improve the product. This does not include personally identifiable information.
How We Use Your Information
- To send you early access updates and product announcements related to TutorBrief.
- To process your session notes through our AI service and return a draft parent email.
- To improve and debug our service based on aggregate usage patterns.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties — ever.
Data Sharing
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate TutorBrief (such as an AI language model provider to generate emails). These providers process data only on our behalf and are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes. We do not share your personal information with any other third party.
Data Retention
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Session notes entered into the demo are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers beyond the duration of the request.
Your Rights
You may request that we delete your email address from our records at any time by contacting us at hello@tutorbrief.com. We will honor deletion requests within 30 days.
